Fished on the sustained yield principle and harvested naturally at its peak of freshness, our crab is the largest and most sought after of all the Alaskan Crab species. It is sourced exclusively from American waters that produce the ideal combination of flavor, texture and overall sizing – the Bristol Bay region of the Bering Sea just southwest of the Alaskan mainland. This area may sound familiar to you as the popular show Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel has documented the industry there for several years. In fact, you may have even seen your crab being harvested by the Northwestern or several other support vessels there like the Sea Lion, Bountiful and others! Currently, Jeff Ruby’s restaurants are the largest single restaurant consumer of Alaskan Red King Crab from this region.
