"Unbelievable" - An Interview With Jeff Ruby

Famous. Infamous. Beloved. Misunderstood. There’s no shortage of words to try and describe legendary Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby. So, we decided to get the full story on his crazy life in his own words. The result was a near-hour-long interview covering decades of bar fights, celebrity stories, community involvement and really, really good steaks. “Unbelievable” is a three part interview discussing his rise in Cincinnati, the birth of his renowned restaurant “The Precinct” and the huge decision earlier this year that gave him national headlines. As you’ll see, there really isn’t anyone else like Jeff Ruby.

Their 18 month old baby girl Ny’Leah has cerebral palsy, is epileptic, legally blind, and faces a host of other health issues. Of Four Ohio Steakhouses To Win Wine Spectator's Level 2 Award, Three Of Them Belong To Jeff Ruby: Carlo & Johnny, Precinct & Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse. Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. To qualify for an award, a wine list must present complete, accurate information, including vintages and appellations for all selections. Complete producer names and correct spellings are mandatory, and the overall presentation of the list is also considered. Lists that meet these requirements are judged for one of our three awards.
